I've been plotting out a massive order for quite some time now and though I've never wavered in my intent to purchase a QT I am now thinking that the Bambino looks pretty damn nice....I love the cloisonne stem, and frankly I don't care for the newer stem I've seen in pics of the QT. Now I've thoroughly read the reviews for both and they both have many positives and few negatives it seems. I would like to use the 2 hose adaption feature that I've heard the QT handles quite nicely and the Bambino not so much. I'm a fan of 14 inches over a scant 11...but I love the look of the Bambino more and more. I plan on using a small and medium phunnel for the most part and a razan hose which I've heard the bambino doesn't handle so well. Also I have these awesome specs I came up with for an acrylic-walled 2 tiered wooden based cage/stand with removable lcd inlays for the QT that I've invested alot of thought into. But the Bambino looks so sexy! I'm also planning on purchasing an MZ perpetual river and possibly a KM if that factors into your recommendation. I guess I'm pretty heavily invested in a QT but I like the idea of the Bambino as wellSo, in this epic battle of the midget-warrior pipes, who shall be the victor and who shall lie in ruins on the field of battle? Shnordle Posted August 16, 2008 Share Posted August 16, 2008 I use a bambino and stand by it. Not only does it look good, but I use a small phunnel on it and a nammor and everything works fine. Smoke never gets harsh (unless the coal manages to burn the shisha), and it never topples over fromm the weight of the hose. That base is a beast.When I first bought it I also considered a QT because of the two hose option, but went ahead and got the bambino. Spotless Posted August 16, 2008 Share Posted August 16, 2008 im saying QT up front, mine has performed excellent everytime and frankly I am a bigger fan of the looks compared to the bambino since I too went through the battle of the two. My friend has a bambino coming in the mail as we speak and we will put them against each other at the same time when we smoke out next saturday, ill give ya the results. DO NOT STOP NOW!!!!So frankly my opinion as of now is that I like the aesthetics of the Bambino better, but the practicality of the QT has won my heart, so I am still torn in my allegiance. I'm too damn lazy to sand down a hose so anyone know if the razan fits the QT without taking drastic customization measures? I gotta say this is neck in neck for me..... Mayhap we could perfrom a series of experiments...Test 1 - Assume a fighting stance and run quickly at eachother, smashing them together. I become a cloud machine with this little thing . The QT also has more utility as you can add another valve in to make a 2 hoser.
